Pedro is a well-balanced stallion of 16.1 hands with generous strides and a natural elastic movement. He has a lovely head carried on a beautiful neck, producing elegance, lightness and self-carriage. Pedro has a willing temperament, with good character and an eagerness to please. He is an athletic and expressive riding horse and is showing enormous jumping ability. Pedro loves people whether they are big or small, as you can see from the photos even when he is running with the mares he enjoys visits from our two young girls Jessica (5yrs) and Grace (3yrs).

Pedro is by the well known Holstein stallion Littorio and Pedro’s dam is Nearconess she is from a good line of Thoroughbreds also. Littorio is fully approved and licensed with the Holsteiner Verband, Oldenburg Verband and Belgian Warmblood. Littorio is 100 Day performance tested. lsteiner stallion. Littorio is the 1995 Grand Champion of the Holsteiner Verband, Neumunster. Littorio has outstanding suspension and gaits and is known for passing on beautiful heads. His sire, Lord, is one of the most influential sires in the history of the Holstein and Littorio is one of his last remaining sons. He has great depth of bloodlines and is approved for Holsteiner, Oldenburg and Belgian Warmblood.


Littorio has produced Belgium's 2001 National Grand Champion filly foal, and also sired two finalists for the national freejumping championships at Melchen. These two finalists were selected out of 110 two-year-olds. He also has two qualifiers for the Bundeschampionart 2003 and a finalist for the young horse world championships, in Monteray, Mexico.


Littorios family is ranked number one for producing dressage horses in the world with such relatives as Flemmingh. Gestion Lingh and Krack Z. In 2003 the 2003 Netherlands Champion Foal was out of a Littorio mare and in his first season in New Zealand he produced many Premium foals and Overall Australian Champion Foal - Barrabadeen Timeless. His reputation continued the following year to produce 2005 HHAA&NZ Champion Filly, Colt Foal and Yearling.
